This depends on two things. First, how successful the treatment was, which means that all visible lesions were eliminated (decrease of viral load) and second, the condition of your immune system and its capability to suppress the HPVs that remain after the destruction of the lesions. Usually after the removal of the lesions, a period of several months passes before the remaining HPVs are suppressed by the immune system. After their suppression there is a drastic decrease of infectiousness.
